As one of Nairobi's busiest business hubs and wealthiest neighbourhoods, Westlands has become a target — mugging and street crime leave residents, workers, and business owners feeling unsafe even in daylight.
- Stronger community policing partnerships (Nyumba Kumi) in every ward
- Improved street lighting and CCTV coverage in business and residential zones
- Faster coordination between residents, business associations, and police for rapid response
- Youth engagement programs tackling the root causes of crime, not just its symptoms
Unreliable water supply, overflowing sewer lines, and irregular garbage collection affect health and dignity in every ward.
